AGE CALCULATION ACCURACY

Leap Years: This calculator accounts for leap years (February 29) automatically. A leap year occurs every 4 years, except years divisible by 100 (unless also divisible by 400).

Time Zones: Age is calculated based on calendar dates, not precise time of birth. If you were born at 11 PM on January 1, you turn "1 day old" at midnight.

Month Lengths: Months vary (28-31 days). This calculator uses exact date arithmetic, so "1 month old" from January 31 would be February 28 (or 29 in leap years).
